Terrestrial globe and map awaken the imagination  of the child wonderment in us  , discovering the world , seeing the color and name of far away places open the door to dreams and yet to be lived adventure .Until the 19th century those objects of sciences were reserved to only the very rich , new printing process  and  public education  made hem available  to a larger audience .The late 19th and early 20th  terrestrial globe  are the most interesting as you see all the change happening before and after WWI.
