Original educational history poster for elementary school, printed by the Imprimerie Georges Lang. Carries a vibrant offset print on both sides of the paper. This features No. 19 and 23 from the Tableaux D'Histoire pour le Cours Elementaire series; "Henri IV est L'Ami des Paysans" and "Au Canada, les Peaux-Rouges Vendent des Fourrures aux Francais", scenes from France's early colonial era. No. 19 depicts Henry IV, known as "Good King Henry", for his concern and dedication towards the people. No. 23 depicts the prosperous Canadian fur trade between the First Nations and the French Colonials. 


Widely used in schools because of their large format and their colorful imagery. Aided teachers in their lectures and captured the imaginations of students alike.
