Vintage early counterbalance desk lamp , reminiscent of Edouard-Wilfred Buquet  iconic lamp , the arm with counterbalance seemingly introduced in the early 1920 ,  the round base is to be found later with Sarfatti in the 1950's with his Arteluce  production. 
Most likely a French production from the art deco era .
Size arm fully extended 32 in  , closed 21 in , base 7.in , globe D.6.3/4  , rewired with adapteur to the orginal socket .
