 Board games, or strategy games adorned with scenery or set in a historical, geographical, literary, or imaginary world more or less adapted to their mechanics  originated from lotteries and the Game of the Goose (Gioco dell'Oca), which appeared around 1575/80 in Florence in the circle of Francesco de' Medici.
Closed size 14 x 18 in , open 28x 18 , restored back with marbled paper .some oxidation of the paper and light stain .
