Lithograph, avertisement catalogue of the 1865 fashion in France , which was at the time the cultural center of elegance and art  of Europe .During the  Second Empire, the most important stores multiplied their expansions and embellishments, so much so that they were referred to as “monster stores”. This is how the Coin de Rue, which expanded in 1864 – six floors, 33 galleries and more than 6,000 square meters – employed 250 clerks and had a turnover of 14 million francs.

Size 20 x 26 in. some light oxidation on trim , overall good condition
