Yves Jujeau, Pierre and André Mounique created the "New Company of JUMO Establishments" (assembly of the first 2 letters of each name) in Bagnolet (France) in the 1940s, bought at the end of the 1970s by Concord (English company), it will become Jumo Concord, then will be relocated and will disappear in the 80s.

Widespread and popular in France, Jumo lamps are primarily designed for all office trades and are available in around a hundred models.

The manufacturer is both drawing inspiration from the past for some models and innovating with a very modern design for others.

The 600 and 700 Chosen by Charlotte Perriand for the Useful Forms exhibition in 1949, this lamp is a model of sobriety and elegance. Entirely made of metal, it has a chrome finish, white lacquer inside the reflector. It is a pair for sale , the base have different finish , one is chromed , the other is grey flat . The neck was designed so it could go over a typewriter .

So it is not designed by Perriand but was use as an example for one of her exposition.

Size H.24 in , globe 5 .in  , base 6 , good antique condition ,there is some scratches and nick from normal use , no oxidation , globe  stripped metal ready to be chromed if desired , rewired with American socket .
