Founded in 1946 by Angelo Vittorio Mazzega on the island of Murano, AV Mazzega is a renowned artistic glassworks, initially dedicated to traditional techniques. In the 1960s and 70s, under Gianni Bruno Mazzega, the company turned toward contemporary design, collaborating with designers such as Carlo Nason to create iconic pieces in blown and sculpted glass.
The coloring of the hand  tooled glass is indicative of the work of the Mazzega family , it can be seen with the production of the 1950's to the 1970's .
