Made in France in the 1960 this wool tapestry reflect the democratic desire of that time to produce affordable art .  Those tapestry are to be placed on wall to bring an organic feel to a mid century interior , those creators answered to the need of bringing some warmth to an otherwise cold mass produce style of furnishing so prevalent in the 1950's and 1960's .This one  is in the style of Lurcat and Picart Ledoux with a  nature theme.Robert Debieve was a Belgian designer who was born in Brussels in 1941 and died in 1996.During his career, Debieve has worked on a variety of design projects, from creating furniture and glass objects to designing exhibitions. He has been recognized for his ability to fuse organic forms and clean lines in his creations, creating innovative and functional designs. It is a stylized  landscape of a fishnet  amoungst bamboo plants , ( le filet aus roseaux  )
