French modernist desk lamp JUMO from 1950's attributed to Eileen Gray , an important lamp making company from France who used the best designer of their time. Eileen Gray (1878 - 1976), avant guarde modernist pioneer ,her personality which made her one of the protagonists of the history of twentieth century design, continues to influence our modern way of living . It is to be noted that she was part of the UAM ( Union des Artistes Modernes ). There is no real proof that Gray is the creator just attribution , you need to like patina to appreciate this piece .Jumo is know primarily for the Bolidus lamp and the Raymond Loewy's desk lamp but they produced some of the most amazing and innovative lamp until the 1970's
