FRENCH ART DECO modernist LARGE CHANDELIER ARBUS LELEU EZAN PETITOT
Made in France in the 1940's or early 1950's this Chandelier is most likely a design from Arbus or the like of him , regional company used to order part and design to reassembled them for their own label . Original cooper frame , original glass shade , fitted with American socket .It is the last time in France that it was possible to produced and offer pieces of this quality , the mass production of the 1960's was just around the corner and turned the page on small atelier to open the age of cost saving . Ezan and Petitot atelier did produced some similar chandelier .The cooper arm and design can be found with the work of Royere , Leleu and Arbus and is definitely a 1940's trademark . It will fit any modernist interior and can bring a warmer touch to a pure Eames style furniture set or a more traditional setting.
