ETALEUNE is the signature of vases and objects in molded pressed glass manufactured by "ETAblissements LEUNE". The Leune glass factory, whose head office was located at 28bis, rue du Cardinal Lemoine in the 5th arrondissement of Paris, produced between 1900 and 1930 objects and vases in glass painted with hot-fixed enamel, as well as many glasses breath blown and pressed molded. The "legend" of the creation of the Etaleune establishments by Edmond Etling remains to be verified...... Legend abundantly maintained by certain sellers with the aim of associating a slightly more prestigious name with ordinary glassware manufactured in large series. would be more honest to associate Leune with other big names in glassmaking since Paul Daum, son of Auguste Daum would have directed the company at the beginning of the 1920s. But it is above all Auguste Claude Heiligenstein artistic director of the company between 1923 and 1926 who will create a large number of models for this brand. Like many glass factories, the Leune factory ceased production after the crisis of 1929.
