Made  in the 1940's in Switzerland  this light was originally designed to be screwed on the  work bench, you have the option to keep it on a cast iron base if desired ( as  pictured) , stripped and rewired .This model can also be use as a floor lamp ,  from 1930 to 1960 most European store were selling the Bag Turgi lamp due to the  practical and elegant design  of the Swiss Bauhaus. Stripped metal , the articulation are easily identifiable  to this particular company .
