Lucien Alliot was born in Paris on November 16th, 1877. He was a student of Barrias and Coutan, and the son of Napoleon Alliot, who was a sculptor like him.
Lucien worked with the movement art nouveau in Nancy France which saw a effervescence of creativity in the early 1900 . " les Lumieres de Nancy " ( signed on the base ) was one of the many atelier producing artistic and fonctional pieces  just before WWI , there is also " alliot " signature on one of the lillies leave.
