H. Steiner asked Wilhelm Von Bode to create a line of furniture in the style of Alvar Aalto ( the Finnish architect ) to answer the need of more modern and easier production method during the reconstruction period in France. This new style was an immediate success being carried by new form of designing going toward informal setting .
