Made in France in the late 1920's early 1930's this  desk lamp is fitted with an enamel reflector  globe .The metal mounting  is a  Monix  which  was the brand of Maxime Lokiec a Paris based company (38-40 rue de la Folie Méricourt ), original Enamel metal globe  , rewired with American socket .When fired, the enamel glazed  create a non-porous surface that was easier to clean than exposed metal .
