Large French  road map of France   circa 1860 edited by “Drioux et Leroy ”  . L’ Abbé Claude-Joseph Drioux (17 February 1820 – 13 May 1898) was a French priest, popular educator, cartographer, geographer, historian, and religious writer. Drioux worked primarily with cartographer Charles Leroy.
It features the France of the second Empire , some train line are already  included , annexation de la Savoie  visible .The vignette demonstrating the size of the mountain and plateau of the French territory was part of the pedagogue movement of the 19th .
