Mathieu Matégot servant table, France, 1950s. Perforated sheet metal — rigitulle — his patented technique used from 1953 to 1959. The round perforations indicate a later production variant — Matégot experimenting with different rigitulle patterns and scales.
He worked alongside Prouvé, Perriand, Royère, and Adnet before returning to painting and tapestry in 1960.
Original white paint. Slight oxidation on the wheel supports. Good condition. H. 27 in × L. 28 in × W. 17.5 in.
