Mathieu Matégot trolley, France, 1950s. Bent and perforated sheet metal — rigitulle — his patented technique used from 1953 to 1959. Matégot bent and perforated sheet metal into the appearance of lacework — industry and delicacy in the same gesture. He worked alongside Prouvé, Perriand, Royère, and Adnet before returning to painting and tapestry in 1960.

The round metal dot are from his later production when he experimeted with different size and " rigitulle " version .

Size H.29 x L.27 3/4 in x W.22 3/4 in, this trolley is in excellent condition, original black paint , slight oxidation of the wheels support .
