French mid century Solere Lamp
It looks like Solere was inspired by the Timor Lamp designed by Kalf for Phillip with it its center gold tone post .In the 1950s, Ferdinand Solère created a series of lamps for professionals (workshops, architects, hospitals, industries) which combined aluminium, stainless steel and cast iron. These lamps are often fitted with an anti-glare blue plastic dimmer that suppresses cast shadows.Ferdinand-Simon (Antoine) Solere has a total of 37 patents to his name, filed between 1927 and 1979.
