FRENCH ART DECO CHANDELIER GLASS MULLER marmorean glass wrought iron frame

This chandelier, crafted in France during the late 1920s to early 1930s, is a signed piece by the Muller brothers , whose renowned work was highly desired for their chandeliers and art glass pieces. However, the crash of 1929 severely impacted their business, leading to the permanent closure of the Muller Freres studios in 1936. The style is the cubist and geometric variation of the late 1920's early 1930's .

Featuring an original rough iron mounting with original glass shade, rewired with an American socket, this chandelier represents the last era in France where brass pieces of such quality were produced before the mass production boom of the 1950 .The last picture is the Freres Muller supervising their atelier ( men standing )
