The Jules Ferry laws passed during the early 1880s revolutionized French education by making primary school free (1881), compulsory (1882) for children aged 6 to 13, and secular (1882). Spearheaded by Jules Ferry, these reforms replaced church-run instruction with state public schooling to unite the nation and instill republican values. This reform created the need for teaching aid from book to poster and science apparatus

Size H.34 x W 24 good antique condition ,there is some scratches from normal use and some superficial oxidation ( darker spots).
