First cast-iron mills Peugeot freres coffee grinder 1840/1870
Starting in 1840 Peugeot started producing cast-iron coffee mills to grind large quantities of coffee beans , an added bonus was that these mills could also double as grain or sugar grinders. In 1810, brothers Jean-Pierre and Jean-Frederic Peugeot converted the family flour mill into a steel foundry, dubbing the new business with their surname. Due to the superior quality of their cast iron those early industrial machine can still be used today.
This piece will make a great statement in a kitchen or as restaurant decor , the wheel is an unusual model since most have just a crank .
