Made in France in the late 1920's early 1930's this  desk lamp is fitted with an an unsigned Schneider globe .The metal mounting  is a  Monix  which  was the brand of Maxime Lokiec a Paris based company (38-40 rue de la Folie Méricourt ), original glass shade , rewired with American socket .In 1922 a patent was registered for a spring braked ball joint which is used in most Monix models.It will fit any modernist interior and can bring a warmer touch to a pure Eames style furniture set. The arm is stamped with a star which was the trademark of Maxime Lokiec .
Rewired , size H.19 x globe D.4 . Rewired with  adapter to US bulb E12.
