This is a beautiful map of Paris created by Andriveau-Goujon’ with their distinctive pastel coloring to show the expansion works of . It was published in 1882 , Paris is divided into twenty areas called arrondissements. These were established in 1859 when the suburbs between the Thiers fortifications and the Farmers General wall were added to Paris. Each district is colored with a different color and is further divided into four districts. The map also shows the Red-colored boulevards proposed by Haussmann, which cut through the old city.
