Original educational history poster for elementary school, printed by the Imprimerie Georges Lang. Carries a vibrant offset print on both sides of the paper. This features No. 27 and 31 from the Tableaux D'Histoire pour le Cours Elementaire series; "Vive La Nation !" and "La Charge de Reichshoffen", depicting famous scenes from France's revolutionary and military history; the heroic victory for the French Republic in the Battle of Valmy in 1792, and the defeat against the Prussians at the Battle of the Reichshoffen in 1870.


Widely used in schools because of their large format and their colorful imagery. Aided teachers in their lectures and captured the imaginations of students alike.
