Solere is a French designer part of the 1950 modernist movement mostly known for creating task Lamp , like Doumecq who designed the Jielde lamp Solere designed ingenious and stylish " neo modern " light bringing classic and modern together .Today it has a feel of " old modern " with a nostalgic touch .This model has sliding  arm extending from 12 to 16 .The blue diffuseur is also one of his invention , this desk lamp was the " luxury " model destined to bring elegance and practicality , gold finish , US socket and US plug , 2 switch for 2 level of brightness .The black and white picture is from a Melville 's movie  : " 2 men in town "
