2017 Jean Camille For Style French Antiques

310 994 6009

Made in the late 1950's or early 1960's this coffee table colorful ceramic tile is a perfect example of sleek French modernism ,while  unsigned it is a  Vallauris creation from Jean and Robert Cloutier ,the  art ceramic colony formed around Picasso's atelier created utilitarian art from  vase to table top during this Era, this model has a magazine shelve .The metal frame is in the manner of Guariche., Their work, begun in the 1950s, fed like all the artists of their generation to the soil left by Picasso, Jouve and Marie Vassilief, but remains of an indelible singularity.I am just back from a buying in France so  follow my posting for interested mid century french piece from the like of  Guariche and Gabriel
