This chandelier, crafted in France during the late 1920s to early 1930s, is an unsigned piece by the Muller brothers ,  whose renowned work was highly desired for their chandeliers and art glass pieces. However, the crash of 1929 severely impacted their business, leading to the permanent closure of the Muller Freres studios in 1936.

Featuring an original  rough iron mounting with riginal glass shade, d rewired with an American socket, this chandelier represents the last era in France where brass pieces of such quality were produced before the mass production boom of the 1950s. The rough iron mounting  share similarities with works by Sube, Sue, Mare, and others from the same period.

The design of the iron arm shares similarities with works by Sube, Sue, Mare, and others from the same period. Suitable for any modernist interior, it adds a touch of warmth to a pure Eames-style furniture set.
