Crackled porcelain art piece were very popular during the art deco period  1920-1940 , this phaesant   is emblematic of the playfull decorative fashion to depict animal of the 1920's in France .It looks like a François LEVALLOIS (1882-1965) dit L. FRANCOIS creation , François worked, sculpting and directing, at manufacturers including Manufacture de Sèvres, l'Amandoise, Sainte-Amande les-Eaux, Vallaurris and Sainte Radegonde.
