This 7 inches French globe is a "Perrina" with an address in Paris , the cartography looks like a Forest globe which was a School supply company at the turn of the 19th. century ,it disappeared in the early XX Th.The Forest gores could have been copied , adapted or purchased . Girard joined forces with Barrère in 1934; they subsequently bought the houses of Andriveau, Goujon and Forest. In 1946 the company name becomes Girard, Barrère & Thomas , It became Taride at a later date .Perrina seems to have produced only lighted globe for a brief period .
It is a glass globe electrified with a light inside , it has been refurbished with a US socket and a US Plug . Size : 7" globe , H 10.
