CORNU (Pierre) Painter , born 11/19/1893 in Salon (Provence). He was a student of Othon Friesz and was influenced by the impressionist and the fauvist . He spent most of his life in Aix en Provence . Since 1933 he was exposing at " Le salon d'automne , aux Independants and au Salon des Tuilleries". He was fluent with landscape , still life and nude portrait .His stroke is lively and in tune with the color full style of the painter from the south of France.He is listed in the French Benezit page 178.

Fogel (Fernand) , born at Saint Aubert , Nord , was part of the "Ecole Francaise" , he was noticed in 1933 for his landscape at the "Salon des Artist Francais". This piece is illustrating the overflow of the river La Seine in Paris. Size 22 x 28 with original wood frame.

LEROY (Stephane) , Painter born in Belgium , 11/18/1877 , naturalized French .Student of Flameng and Cormon , he receive a silver medal in 1928 from the " Salon" , he can be found page 609 in the Benezit . His work is reminiscent of the realist painter of the great depression in the US (Between the Wars: 1918-1939) but with a softer touch .

JEAN PICARD LEDOUX was a painter and a graphic Artist who worked in the 1950's , he was part of the team who designed the interior of Cruiseliner for the SGT , Companie Generale Transatlantique. This scene has a Harp and doves with a star burst which is a trademark of Ledoux and Lurcat .
